Construction on the Vistula Bike Trail will be completed in November. Thanks to the creation of the trail journey along the river will be much easier and more pleasant.
Warsaw boasts is about 30 kilometer route linking the north and south of the city. Vistula Bike Trail is a sequence of promenades, cycling tracks and roads with a width of up to 10 meters.
The route starts from Mlocinski Park on the border of Warsaw and Lomianki, and leads to Kepa Zawadowska at the end of Wilanow. Vistula Bike Trail is paved by the natural surface - depending on the function, asphalt and white concrete. Construction works on the route will last only until the end of November. Then the trail will be available to cyclists.
Vistula Bike Trail is located along the left bank of the river and affects on its uniqueness and attractiveness in terms of passing places. Cyclists can pass through various scenic points, passing also "wild" nature areas and the Żoliborz beach, charming Old Town and Czerniakowski Port. Traveling by the trail we’r passing, among others, playgrounds, gyms under a cloud, and during the season Vistula’s lively cafes, where you can relax. The combination of the perfects areas of the city center of Warsaw greatly facilitates communication line home - work or home - school.
You don’t have your own bike? No problem! City Bikes can be rented at the Veturilo stations, located near to the trail: the KS Spojnia, Sanguszka, I Armoured Division Square, Mariensztat, Kościuszkowskie Coast, Solec and Czerniakowskie Port.
